Length and Prompt History

A few new features have been added to all add-ins. Firstly, a configurable Length dropdown is now available, allowing for quicker responses with shorter requests. Secondly, temporary prompt history is now stored under the Action dropdown. Additionally, minor UI updates have been made, and an API key for the upcoming Google Bard has been created.

Response Speed

Due to GPT-4's immense popularity, request processing can be slow, and unfortunately, there's nothing I can do as it relies on OpenAI. However, you could try using GPT-3.5 as your Active Model for faster results, though it may produce shorter responses.

There are a few common reasons for receiving the "timeout exceeded" message. First, ensure that your prompt is specific and concise, as a generic prompt can lead to this issue. Additionally, we've found that some instances of Microsoft Word can be corrupted, causing the problem. In such cases, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Word to resolve the issue.

Some UI updates along with adding an INSERT ICON near the Response textbox. It will insert the response from the AI where your cursor is located. I also fixed some bugs in regards to startup for the first time and defaulting GPT3.5 as the default model.

I got access to GPT4 today and it is active in your add-in. I have not defaulted to it as I would like to test it for a week before making it the default. I have noticed it is a lot slower than GPT 3.5. Email any issues you run into.

Released many nice UIUX updates to the add-ins to clean up the interface. Updated the Writing Styles to include many more. I'm on the list for GPT-4 access. Once I get it I will quickly add it as the default model of the add-ins.

Word Add-in

Highlighting text in your document will automatically be used after your prompt statement. I've also have better positioning of your response from the AI where you have your cursor. If text is highlighted, the response text will be right after it.
